    • You will need to pay the Nairobi National Park fee online ahead of time, as well as an in-person fee to SWT upon arrival. (cash only)

    • Arrive early as it is a bit difficult to find. The visit to the Elephant Orphanage is only 1 hour so you want to make sure you’re on time!

    • This is the must-do location if you want to see a lot of animals

    • Highly recommend doing the hot air balloon! Very worth it and very smooth.

    • If you want to see the great migration, visit during July - September. Prices will be higher during this time.

  • Amboseli National Park

    • You can see Mount Kilimanjaro from this park! (depending on the cloud coverage)

    • This park is specifically known for its extraordinary herds of elephants

    • There is a pool, bar, and restaurant. The restaurant serves buffet meals periodically throughout the day.

    • No air conditioning, but there is a fan! Rooms do get hot during the day.

  • AA Lodge Amboseli

    • There is a pool, bar, and restaurant. The restaurant serves buffet meals periodically throughout the day.

    • Again, no air conditioning but there is a fan.

    • Be aware that the bugs come out here, especially during the rainy season! Keep your outdoor lights off and block the crack underneath your door with a towel. There is a screen canopy around the bed to keep the bugs out while you sleep.
